Nancy Schiavone, Kennett Square

Nancy V. Schiavone, 82, of Kennett Square died at her home on Friday, Feb. 20.She was the was the wife of Pasquale T. Schiavone, who died in 2008, and with whom she shared 36 years of marriage.
Born in Collingswood, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Gerardi Troilo.
Mrs. Schiavone was a homemaker and enjoyed family outings, gardening, cooking, lunches with her friends, shopping, and being with her grandchildren. She was an Eagles fan.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kennett Square and member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxilliary.
She is survived by two sons, James Petro and his wife, Joyce, of Waukee, Iowa, and John Petro of Nottingham; two daughters, Nancy Cusick of Newark, Del., and Cindy Becker and her husband, Glenn, of Kennett Square; one step-son, Patrick Schiavone and his wife, Betty, of Jarrettsville, Md.; two step-daughters, Mary Ann Cable and her husband, Skip, of Houston, Texas, and Linda Thompson of Kennett Square; three brothers, Frank Troilo of West Chester, Girard Troilo of West Grove and Nick Teti of Kennett Square; 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one sister, Eleanor Peacock.
You are invited to visit with Nancy’s family and friends on Thursday morning, Feb. 26, 2009, from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA. Interment was in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
